WHAT IS LUNA? 🌙 LUNA is a multicultural Asian interest group in Orlando, Florida that encourages young women to take initiative in improving and giving back to their communities.
WHAT ARE OUR PILLARS? The acronym LUNA stands for Leadership through Unification, Nobility, and Advocacy. By upholding these pillars of Unification, Nobility and Advocacy, we believe that we can make positive impacts on each other and our community.
LEADING THROUGH UNIFICATION Since LUNA resides in such a diverse area, the organization is home to individuals of varied cultural backgrounds. However, it’s important that we understand the value in unifying and bringing together people from different walks of life in order to make a change.
LEADING THROUGH NOBILITY To LUNA, nobility means staying true to your morals and being honest with yourself and those around you. By leading through example, LUNA believes we can create successes in our community by utilizing the qualities of nobility, virtue, and integrity.
LEADING THROUGH ADVOCACY LUNA strives to provide a foundation of support for those who are underrepresented, undervalued, or unheard so that we can come together as one without discrimination. It is our responsibility to uplift each other and our community and to empower others to do the same.
